While the clinic has no affiliation with the team, as proud Torontonians and passionate fans, we have implemented a Toronto Maple Leafs theme throughout the clinic! Thanks to the help of our unofficial team ambassador, Darryl Sittler, we have lots of memorabilia to see and each room is dedicated and numbered in honor of a past or present player. While we hope that most of our clients will find this to be a fun twist (and nicer to look at compared to anatomy diagrams or pharmaceutical ads), it should be noted that we accept those who are fans of any team and always welcome friendly banter. When Tanja and Mac began working together in England in 2008, it was during walks along the Thames with their dogs Blanka (Mac) and Merle (Tanja) where their friendship really took off. It became clear that the two shared the same views on how the delivery of veterinary services should be undertaken as well as the importance of strong client and colleague relationships. It was here where the vision of their future practice really took shape. What started as a dream became reality when doors were opened to Spinks Veterinary Clinic in July of 2017! They felt it was appropriate to incorporate an image of their ‘founding’ dogs into their logo, which was designed using this painting of the dogs as the template. Afterall, these two girls were the catalyst not only for their future careers together but for the start of their family.
